1. Romance
2. Musette
3. Air and Variation
4. March
5. Postlude
This Serenade was completed during November 1969. It was inspired by the 'Serenata Pensierosa' of Professor Ernst Hermann Meyer, to whom it was dedicated. It could be described as a 'Serenata lirica e divertente'. The Romance and Air and Variations are impassioned, the Musette and March light in character; the short postlude refers to both the Romance and the Air.
